Time..where does it go....

So many good intentions...and yet I have fritter away the rest of the year on less cerebral endeavours. However I have been busy. And with my next course starting again soon, no doubt I will start writing again.

One can however learn from each of these!

Squeeze...it's OK to dance around an old building to aging popstars. We shoudl do the Greenwich sessions more often. Don't succumb to the advertising for Jimmy's Farm burgers though....£5 is too much!

Maiden  - There's nothing like Rocking out to your favourite band with your best mate and feeling like you are 17 again.

Cornwall. Goran Haven. My favourite little hideaway. A holiday where there is no phone signal is good. Mevagissey still has the best crab in the world. You can get to many places with just 3 buses a year.  When you drop your phone in the Lost Gardens of Heligan, you can traverse the whole site in ten minutes!

Batman Live.  We were spoilt by the circus at the Eden Project that was amazing. However the joker stole the show, and I wore my batman dress that I had made. And Batman waved at the little boy in front of me. He reminded me that seeing through the eyes of a child is good to do...and often!

Sailing in Greece.
So many lessons...not least that Tristan gets to take charge. Don't sail in front of a ferry. Get to the anchorage fast. Check the boat properly before you leave. However, mostly it taught freedom and simplicity and how good gin is at the end of the day.
